The community garden at the Shinnecock Museum & Cultural Center is thankfully supported by Lillian Ball & donations by Glover Perennials.
It is our goal to proudly present indigenous plants from the East End to our visitors at the front entrance. Please enjoy!
Volunteer
Each Fall & early Spring, volunteers from all communities join the Shinnecock Nation in maintaining the garden, learning about indigenous and invasive plants, and help in weeding out invasive plants to preserve the water distribution and educational potential of indigenous plants.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us through Facebook near early October and early April! We always welcome help through physical weeding, donation of moss, indigenous plants, compost, and tools!
